How numerology compatibility is calculated
The score is built from four parts, and each one drives its own scale in the result. There is no randomness in it: the same dates always produce the same percentage.
The life path number. The backbone of Pythagorean numerology. Every digit of the birth date is added up and the sum is reduced to a single digit. For 14 September 1992 that is 1+4+0+9+1+9+9+2 = 35, then 3+5 = 8. The master numbers 11, 22 and 33 are left alone — they are considered to have their own, more complicated dynamic. The combination of two life path numbers drives the Characters scale and carries the most weight in the total.
The pair arcanum. From the destiny matrix. A personal arcanum is taken from the day of birth, from one to twenty-two, and anything above twenty-two wraps around. The two arcana are added and reduced into the pair arcanum, which drives the long-run scale: what happens to the relationship over years rather than in the first month.
The Pythagorean square. A nine-cell psychomatrix. It is filled with the digits of the birth date plus four working numbers derived the classic way. How many digits land in a cell shows how pronounced that trait is: character, energy, health, logic. Comparing the two squares gives two scales — energy and pace, and home and commitments.
The name number. Every letter maps to a digit from one to nine, the letters of the name are added and reduced. This is the only optional part: without names the calculator redistributes the weight across the other three.
What each life path number means
- 1 — the leader. Decides fast, takes responsibility, hates working at someone else's pace.
- 2 — the diplomat. Reads the mood, negotiates, gives way more often than they should.
- 3 — the performer. Runs on interest, lights up a room, struggles with discipline.
- 4 — the builder. Order, a kept word, predictability. Takes change badly.
- 5 — the free one. Movement, new places and people. Feels walls instantly.
- 6 — the keeper. Home, care, plans measured in years. Prone to over-protection.
- 7 — the analyst. Thinks before acting, needs quiet and distance.
- 8 — the executive. Scale, results, money. Rarely shows weakness.
- 9 — the idealist. Meaning and fairness, generosity and a habit of idealising.
- 11, 22, 33 — master numbers. Intensified Two, Four and Six: a higher ceiling and a sharper swing.

The strongest combinations are 6 and 9, 2 and 6, 3 and 5, 4 and 8. The hardest are 4 and 5, 3 and 4, 7 and 8. A hard combination does not mean the couple will not work: it means you will have to negotiate what other couples get for free.
The Pythagorean square: nine cells
The psychomatrix is derived from the birth date and shows traits of each person separately rather than compatibility. In the result it is there so you can see where you complement each other and where you are simply the same.

- 2 — energy. The reserve of drive and how much of it goes to other people.

- 8 — duty and family. How built-in the sense of obligation to your people is.
- 9 — memory and mind. Speed of thought and how easily learning comes.
The pair arcanum in the destiny matrix
The destiny matrix describes scenarios rather than traits. The pair arcanum says which trajectory this particular relationship tends to follow: through passion and dependency, through a shared venture, through crises and restarts, or evenly and without swings. The sixth arcanum, the Lovers, is the most couple-oriented of all. The fifteenth, the Devil, brings maximum chemistry and maximum risk of getting stuck in each other. The sixteenth, the Tower, promises loud fights and fast reconciliations.
How this differs from zodiac compatibility
A zodiac sign is set by the day and month, so everyone born on, say, the tenth of May shares one. A life path number uses the full date including the year, so two Tauruses born in different years almost certainly get different numbers. These are two independent ways to look at a couple and they often disagree: astrology describes temperament, numerology describes how decisions get made and commitments get kept.

How do you calculate numerology compatibility by birth date?
Add up every digit of each partner birth date and reduce the sum until a single digit is left — that is the life path number. Compatibility comes from the combination of those two numbers. The calculator does this for you and adds the pair arcanum, a Pythagorean square and, if you entered names, the name numbers.
What is a life path number and how is it worked out?
It is the central number in Pythagorean numerology. For 14 September 1992 you add 1+4+0+9+1+9+9+2 = 35, then 3+5 = 8. The life path number is eight. The exceptions are the master numbers 11, 22 and 33, which are not reduced any further.
Do I have to enter names?
No, names are optional. Without them the reading runs on birth dates alone. If you do enter names, a name number is derived from a letter table, it shifts the final percentage slightly and an extra scale appears in the breakdown.
Is it free and do I need an account?

What do the master numbers 11, 22 and 33 mean?
These are the numbers numerology does not reduce to a single digit. Eleven is treated as an intensified Two, twenty-two as an intensified Four and thirty-three as an intensified Six. In a pair they act on their base number, but with a higher ceiling and a sharper swing.
How is a Pythagorean square different from the destiny matrix?
The Pythagorean square is a grid of nine cells filled with the digits of your birth date plus four working numbers. It shows character, energy, health and other traits by how many digits land in each cell. The destiny matrix works with arcana from 1 to 22 and describes scenarios rather than traits. Does it work for same-sex couples?
Yes. Numerology does not use gender: only the birth dates and, optionally, the names are used. A reading for two women or two men is no different from any other.
What if the percentage comes out low?
A low score means you live in different ways: pace, attitude to plans, the need for freedom or closeness. It is not a verdict and not a ban. The breakdown under the ring says exactly where the friction runs and what people usually do about it.
How is this different from zodiac compatibility?
